Witnessed two UFOs in broad daylight with commercial plane on a collision course.
(Mid 1950s Lutwyche, Brisbane, Queensland)
History:
Sometime mid-morning, while coming out of a hardware store on Lutwyche Road, opposite Lutwyche Shopping Centre, I heard a plane take off from Eagle Farm Airport and watched i climb steeply toward a blue sky. To my amazement I noticed high above where the plane was heading, two large goldy looking disc shaped UFOs. I asked myself “Does the pilot realise what is above him?”), when a sudden shudder was noticed in both discs with an instant later moving with unearthly speed Northward in the direction of the Sunshine Coast in a manner of seconds being out of sight. I have never seen anything like that ever again.
I was born in Amsterdam and moved with my family to Australia in 1951. We travelled by boat called De Groote Beer (a Liberty ship) for six weeks and arrived I Sydney three weeks before my birthday. We first stayed in a facility camp in Bathurst in NSW and were later transferred to Creta Camp just outside Maitland where I went to school. I was the only one able to speak English. I was 16 years old. When my father managed to get employment in Brisbane we moved to Sandgate (4 th Avenue), Shorncliffe (Sansui Flats), Baskerville Street, Brighton, Bebbington Street, Zillmere and Serviceton Ave, Inala. It is during our stay in Inala that my father asked me to help him paint houses. We made our own paint with Linseed Oil and Titanium Dioxide with a touch of Copper Sulphate. He claimed the paint would last for twenty years. It was during that time, the UFO incident occurred. I was getting some brushed and terps for him. It must have been early winter time around 10.00am as it started to get cold with him painting in the sunny positions and I being relegated to the shady parts. Before taking up painting, I worked as a builder’s labourer, an apprentice optical mechanic at Arthur Cocks Optician, bottom of Edward Street and learned the then current definition of light “Light is due to vibrations, set up in the luminiferous ETHER by the molecular agitations of an incandescent body”. I was then already active as an amateur astronomer and telescope maker and had ground my own parabolic mirror. Other places of employment were Luya Julius in Eagle Street and Drug Houses of Australia in Charlotte Street. In 1958 I returned to The Netherlands for a holiday, having worked for DHA for a number of years, and was drafted into Dutch National Service the moment I entered the country. On my return I naturalised as an Australian Citizen.

Comment:
I have a habit to keep strictly to the facts and do not embrace ‘belief systems’ I either know something or I do not, or I can do something or I cannot. here is no in-between!
This attitude is evidenced by some 30 odd scientific and technical papers which I have written in the last decade or so and published on my website: hanslarooresearch.com
Thanking you,
